ITS staff have completed the Network maintenance activity. The Global Protect client was not updated but users will need to refresh their VPN connection. To do so, click on the Globe icon in the running task bar, click on the pancake stack in the upper right corner of the Global Protect pop-up window, then click refresh connection and OK to the final pop-up window. When complete, it will show Connected.

Over the holiday weekend, ITS staff have been upgrading our Firewalls. For the most part, there should no outages. There is a four hour window tomorrow - 1/18/21 - where VPN users may get bumped off the network and be required to update their Global Protect client to the new version. The window for this is between 5:00 and 9:00 a.m. on 1/18. Other users not on at this time, should receive an automatic update to their Global Protect client the next time they log in.
