Completed - ITS staff have completed the Network maintenance activity. The Global Protect client was not updated but users will need to refresh their VPN connection. To do so, click on the Globe icon in the running task bar, click on the pancake stack in the upper right corner of the Global Protect pop-up window, then click refresh connection and OK to the final pop-up window. When complete, it will show Connected.

Scheduled - Over the holiday weekend, ITS staff have been upgrading our Firewalls. For the most part, there should no outages. There is a four hour window tomorrow - 1/18/21 - where VPN users may get bumped off the network and be required to update their Global Protect client to the new version. The window for this is between 5:00 and 9:00 a.m. on 1/18. Other users not on at this time, should receive an automatic update to their Global Protect client the next time they log in.

Scheduled - The Workday vendor will be performing systems maintenance on the Production instance on January 16 from 2:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. Saturday morning. During this time, Workday will be unavailable. Note that they are also planning a 12 hour maintenance window beginning at 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 23. We will post an additional announcement next week. The Workday Sandbox instance will be down on January 15 beginning at 9:00 p.m. and lasting through Saturday, January 16 at 9:00 a.m.

The following systems and applications will be unavailable during the maintenance window: Colleague Web UI, Web Advisor, Self Service including Student Planning, Self Service for employees and related services. MyBucks may be available but will likely be running slowly.
